In common with many things, the wheels of progress have not stood still in the development of the shower. There are many things over which, we have little or no control, but this does not have to be the case when we want the temperature of our morning shower exactly right each and every time.
Total control of your shower is at your fingertips with a digital shower, this modern technology allow the user to precisely dictate the mixture of hot and cold water without variation every time, to suit each family member’s preference; no longer do we have to suffer the vagaries of either freezing cold or scalding hot. Knocking the setting out of place accidently whilst showering, fiddling about with the setting and hoping it stays there for the duration whilst showering , these are just memories when a digital shower control is set.
On many digital shower systems, the Aquilsa digital shower system being just one, the neat LED display tells you when the correct temperature setting has been reached, you have total control over the digital shower mixture, also depending on choice the shower can be controlled remotely!
Digital showers can be installed on any water system; they are completely compatible with both high and low pressure, coming with both of these variations. An example of this would be a gravity fed shower, essentially this is a tank in the roof and digital showers can be purchased specifically for a gravity-fed water supply. A Combi boiler where the hot water is supplied “on demand” is a high pressure system and suitable digital showers for these are also readily available.
The modern digital shower has a huge range of benefits; there will be a digital showering system that is just right for your family and a wide range is available to be seen by browsing through our collection.
Digital showers are suitable for high pressure systems such as combi boilers and unvented pressurized systems but one of the main key features is that you can get these as pumped versions to work off of standard gravity systems and this will allow you to get a power shower system without upgrading our plumbing.
These showers are available in 1 or 2 outlet models with both modern and traditional styles available. Single outlet models are best suited for showers with 1 shower head like a slide rail kit or an overhead deluge shower whilst the twin outlet models are great for double shower heads or if you would like a shower over the bath as your valve can fill your bath as well as control your shower function.
These models tend to have very minimalist designs but come with led lighting as a special feature which can indicate if it is at the correct temperature. When you increase the temperature the thermostat flashes red until it reaches temperature and when you turn down the temperature it flashes blue until it reaches temperature.
The processor boxes with these are a fitters dream as they can be fitted in almost any environment including negative head plumbing, positive head plumbing, in a loft, under the bath or even in a cupboard.
Another key feature of these systems is the option of an additional remote control. These are great when you fit a digital shower in your En-Suite as you can turn your shower from your bed so that the shower is up to temperature for when you’re ready to start showering.
